Important Rochdale/Fenwick Apartment Policies

Lockout during the office hours is observed during the following times:
- Monday - Saturday: 12 PM - 6 PM
Go to the Main Office to get temporary keys to open your apartment.
- If you are outside the property during office hours you will need to contact the Main Office: (510) 548-8608

Lockout After-Hours are observed during the following times:
- Monday - Saturday: 6 PM - 12 PM
- Sunday: 12 AM - 12 PM
You have a limited number of 2 calls to the lock-out number prior to receiving fines.

Quiet Hours are observed during the following times:
- Sunday – Thursday: 11PM – 10AM
- Friday – Saturday: 1AM – 10AM
The first 2 violations are considered warnings, unless the 2nd time occurs on the same night, in which case a $50 fine will be assessed at the time of the 2nd warning.
All subsequent infractions are levied $50 fine per infraction.
A 4th infraction may result in a conditional contract and put your BSC membership in jeopardy.

Rochdale Village Apartments, Fenwick Weaver's Village and Davis Park are all located on land owned by University of California, Berkeley unlike some other co-ops in BSC family.
As such, we need to adhere to the university's rules and regulations regarding the usage of controlled substances, alcohols, cigarettes, marajuana, etc. on university owned land according to the rules and regulations set for the lands owned by the university.
Therefore, just like when you are on campus, usage of controlled substances, alcohols, cigarettes, marajuana, etc. are prohibited here.

Subletting is prohibited BSC wide according to the bylaws.
Subletting will result in termination of your contract with penalty for all parties involved in that unit.
You are already paying housing at the affordable rate compared to other apartments in the Bay Area.
Do not try to squeeze more money out of this co-op unfairly for your own benefit.
In addition, it is immoral and illegal and can be persecuted by laws for profiting for yourself from a nonprofit organization.

Every room is provided with a dresser, desk, chair, bed frame (Twin XL), and a mattress (Twin XL).
