Moving In
If you are a new resident moving into Rochdale and Fenwick, please read the information below as you are responsible to understand the move-in process of your unit.
Check-In Location
On the day of moving in please go the address 2424 Haste St, Berkeley, CA 94704. We will have a line by the front gate with markings on the floor that measure 6ft to help with social distancing.

What do I have to bring when moving in?
Photo ID
Bring a photo ID will assist management to verify your identity before we can move into your apartment.
Some acceptable photo IDs are:
Passport/Permanent Resident Card
Drive License/State ID Card
Cal1Card
Face Covering/Mask
Due to COVID-19, all new residents are advise to wear a mask or face covering (covering both nose and mouth) while moving in.

What if I am moving-in after the "move-in date"?
Rochdale/Fenwick office hours are Monday through Saturday, from 12 PM until 6 PM. If you plan on arriving after August 20th please let us know what day you plan to arrive and what time by emailing abeltran@bsc.coop, rocwm@bsc.coop, fenwm@bsc.coop.
**Please keep in mind that if you will be arriving outside our regular office hours you will be subject to a $50.00 out of office hours fee. **
Are the apartments furinshed?
Every room is provided with a dresser, desk, chair, bed frame (Twin XL), and a mattress (Twin XL).

What is guaranteed in the kitchen?
The BSC Rochdale/Fenwick apartment only provide a stove and refrigerator. Any other materials are purchases from residents.
Are we allowed to nail/hang things on walls (e.g., photo frames or floating shelves) in the apartment?
Management encourages residents to hang items that are less than quarter size.

How can I get in contact with my future housemates?
Send a welcome email to your future housemates by forwarding the email to the Assistant Managers (rocam@bsc.coop + fenam@bsc.coop) . They will go ahead and contact them on your behalf.
Make sure to add your contact information so your future apartmate-mates may reach out to you!
